The Opera House is located in Central City one mile up the hill from Black Hawk in central Colorado. It takes about one hour to drive from downtown Denver or from Boulder to Central City. The street address of the Central City Opera House (we cannot receive any postal mail at this address) is:

From Denver or West of Idaho Springs on I-70:
Take I-70 west from Denver into the mountains and take Exit 243 to Central City. The new Central City Parkway is quick, safe and scenic.

From Boulder (scenic):
Take Broadway south. Go west on Canyon Blvd [SR-119]. Bear left (South) onto SR-72 [continues as SR-119]. Continue south and west on SR-72 [SR-119] to Blackhawk. Turn right (South-West) onto Gregory St. and continue on Gregory St [SR-279] which turns into Main St. and then into Lawrence St. and finally into Eureka St. up to the Opera House.
Parking
We offer a reserved parking lot adjacent to the Opera House at $12 per car per performance (the Teller Lot). Parking can be ordered at any time, including when you place your order for tickets, up to 24 hours in advance of a performance (based on availability). Free covered parking, based on availability, is offered at Century Casino, located about 1 block down the hill from the opera house. Some additional street parking is available in Central City, but please pay attention to posted signs as to whether they are specifically designed for patrons of other businesses in the area, as towing is enforced in some lots.
Buses can drop passengers off in front of the Opera House. Bus parking is available at the city lot by the RV park.
Opera Bus - Leave the Driving to Us!

Central City Shuttle
The Central City Free Ride operates on a 30-minute schedule with service to existing bus stop locations in Black Hawk and Central City. Be sure to look for the black and green shuttles when you're in Black Hawk. The Central City Opera House is a short walk uphill from either the Famous Bonanza or Johnny Z bus stops.
