Introduce your kids (and yourself) to opera at special matinees that include a narrator’s preview before each act and an autograph session with the singers. Tickets just $15 for kids 6-18, and $20 for adults.

Performed by the talented artists of the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program in Central City, these fully staged productions include a narrator’s preview before each act and an autograph session with the singers following the performance. Enhance your Family Matinee experience on August 9th! For an extra $10, festival goers can add inside information about the opera accompanied by pre-performance family fun activities and theatre games with Take a Child to the Opera. We also invite you to bring your own lunch to picnic with us before the family matinee performance at 2:30 pm.
