Historic Properties
Join this active committee which helps to maintain the 30+ historic buildings that house the cast and crew in Central City. The Association relies on this wonderful committee to provide volunteers to ready the houses prior to the arrival of the artists for the summer festival, and conduct inventory and assess the needs of the houses after the festival artists leave in August.
Visit the Guild Events web page to learn more about what is currently being planned by the committee.
Or contact one of the Historic Properties Co-chairs for more information:

L'Esprit de Noel Holiday Home Tour
Our biggest fundraiser! Each year in November the Central City Opera Guild stages a beautiful home tour in one neighborhood in the Denver area. One local florist and one table designer are chosen for each home, to decorate for the holidays and showcase their craft. On Thursday, a patron party and preview of the homes is staged. Friday and Saturday, the homes are open to the public, for a small charge. Additionally, a holiday boutique is set up nearby, with a portion of the proceeds going to Central City Opera.
Many volunteers are needed to make L'Esprit de Noël successful! Please contact Margaret Baker (magsbaker@aol.com) to find out more information, help with the planning, or volunteer during the home tour.
Help Plan a Guild Social Event
Each year, the Guild plans several events in the Denver area, both to promote Central City Opera to the community and to provide social functions for the Guild membership. Volunteer opportunities include hosting an event at your home, organizing a party, finding a venue for a gathering, designing invitations and more!
If you would like to offer to help with or organize one of our events, please contact Kathy Tyree, 303-303-761-4857, kltyree@comcast.net.
