Ensure our Future with a Planned Gift

Donate Today – Give Forever
We invite you to make memories possible for future generations through support of the Central City Opera House Endowment Fund. A gift to the Endowment is held forever, earning interest and dividends which are used to support young artists and artistic programming at the Opera.

The Central City Opera House Association Endowment Fund was established as a separate entity in 1992 to provide a foundation for growth and stability for the organization. Endowment gifts are critical to our operational success. They are truly the gifts that keep on giving, as they are permanently invested by the Endowment, generating interest income that is used for the program you support – Summer Festival productions, Apprentice Programs, Historic Preservation and Educational Outreach Programs.

A portion of the interest income is reinvested each year, enabling it to grow and provide and provide a long-term stream of income.

Most Endowment Gifts are made through Wills and Estate Plans from individuals, which can provide your estate with significant tax benefits. If you let us know that you’ve made a planned gift to Central City Opera you will become a member of the Yellow Rose Society. The most common forms of a planned gift are:
• Bequests By Will – for general support of the opera
• Beneficiary Designations – naming Central City Opera as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401K, Savings Account, Life Insurance Policy or Donor-Advised Fund
