Central City Opera presents a new 30-minute opera to complement your opera-going experience in 2010, the comic opera Signor Deluso by Thomas Pasatieri. Based on Moliere’s play Sganarelle, this comedy of errors follows two couples who suspect their true loves are having affairs with others.

This one-act opera is performed by members of our renowned Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program and directed by CCO Artistic Director Emeritus, John Moriarty, who conducted the original production of Signor Deluso in 1974.

Performed on select dates during the Festival (see calendar) at 1:15 p.m. in Williams Stables, tickets for Signor Deluso are $12 per person/$8 for subscribers. If you have not reserved a seat in advance (highly recommended), check with the box office in the Teller House for possible same-day tickets.
