A quirky French opera composed by Poulenc, Thérèse tires of her life as a submissive woman and becomes the male, Tiresias, when her breasts turn into balloons and fly away. While she tries to conquer the world, her husband finds a way to have thousands (yes, thousands) of children and husband and wife are reunited in the end as happy parents.
