Yes, our beloved Artistic Director Emeritus, John Moriarty, just celebrated his 80th birthday. We can all aspire to be as energetic, vibrant and feisty when we hit that impressive milestone. Ironically, he is just a couple years older than Central City Opera itself!!
Central City Opera is one of Colorado’s earliest performing arts organizations, and has earned a national reputation for artistic excellence. John is part of that illustrious accomplishment.
We have set up a special tribute fund honoring John Moriarty. Please consider making an annual fund tribute gift of $80 or more in honor of John Moriarty’s 80th Birthday to support the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program. This nationally-renowned program was founded by Maestro Moriarty in 1978 and he continues to serve as its administrator.
Thank you for your generosity and ensuring this tradition continues for future generations.
Please be sure to include in the comments section that your donation is in honor of John Moriarty.
