Central City Opera Opening Night & Flower Girl Presentation at the Yellow Rose Ball

The Central City Opera House Association cordially invites you to the Opening Night Performance of The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini and the Presentation of the 2013 Flower Girls.

Teller House Gardens and the Teller House in Central City

5:00 pm  Presentation of the Flower Girls by Mr. J. Landis Martin and the Official Opening of the 2013 Festival with the traditional dynamite blast
5:45 pm  Yellow Rose Waltz
6:00 pm  Formal Seated Dinner in the Teller House
8:00 pm  Performance of The Barber of Seville by Rossini in the Central City Opera House

Black Tie

Tickets: Formal Seated Dinner Only - $270; Dinner and Opera - $350 for Patrons, $300 for Juniors (under 35)

For many years the Yellow Rose Ball, named for the wild yellow roses planted by the Cornish miners, was a tradition in Central City.  The Central City Opera House Association adopted the Yellow Rose as the symbol of The Central City Opera Opening Night events.
