Evening will showcase Historic Properties
PARTY for PRESERVATION will offer a festive backdrop for patrons to learn about the treasured landmark buildings owned by Central City Opera. Proceeds from the event will help preserve and protect these important buildings, a purpose stated in the original charter of the House Association in 1932, which remains a key component of Central City Opera's mission today.

A Special Recognition
Join us as we pay tribute to Pam Bansbach for her tireless work and dedication to the Guild and to Central City Opera House Association. We will also honor the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation for significant and enduring contributions to culture and historic preservation in Colorado.

Enjoy a preview of the History Colorado Center before it opens to the public. Guests will be treated to a sneak peek at the sleek modern facility which features high-tech and hands-on exhibits for History Colorado's extensive collection as well as unique, elegant reception spaces. Mountain and sunset views will provide a magnificent twilight backdrop for party patrons to enjoy this special evening.

The evening will feature dinner, drinks and dancing to the tunes of Maestro Hughes. Jeffrey Hughes has performed his riveting display of classical violin mixed with jazz and hip-hop to audiences ranging from Barack Obama's National Convention party to the Five Points Jazz Festival. He debuted with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at age ten and won a fellowship to study with the National Symphony Orchestra while still in high school. At 26 years old, he will perform live at the PARTY for PRESERVATION with his DJ, combining classical violin, soul, funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop to create a unique and original sound.
